CROCHETED CRICKETS - Tunnel Towards the Center [ROCKET-027]
Tiny Upward Rockets is glad to put on tape a piece of music by Nashville-based ambient/electronic artist Ethan Hobson a.k.a. Crocheted Crickets. Tunnel Towards the Center is a sonic exploration of the formation of caves, and Ethan does an incredible job of layering immense, slow-moving sounds with subtle, inquisitive noises that delicately infiltrate the ears. In the backdrop of it all is a soothing tape hiss; one can easily imagine this music to be the soundtrack of a NOVA documentary about caves - obviously the VHS copy. We recommend grabbing a nice pair of headphones and drawing the shades for this.
