We bring to you a fresh EP by Nashville-based Hanna Barbera Cartoon Never Made, titled War Powers. HBCNM uses guitars, keys, voice and a drum machine to deliver four timely songs about the late stages of the civilizational life cycle and the violent, flailing limbs of an empire at its twilight. Sonically, War Powers is somewhere in the intersection of post-metal, shoegaze, nasty rock, and post-punk.
